'96 in Toronto, Best Public Affairs Documentary at the Yorkton Film Festival in Saskatchewan (1996); also won the Gold Plaque at the Chicago TV Festival (1997) and a Gemini award in 1998.

"I prefer to work on in-depth feature stories for newspapers and magazines, as well as on books and video documentaries with a focus on rural life and environment. I am currently at work on a photo book about the Cree of James Bay. Eeyou Istchee, as it is titled, will be published in the late spring of 2010.
