Achievements:

Wrote Engines of local Economic Growth, a statistical snapshot of the Greater Victoria economy, for the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre and was chosen as team writer for the DREP Review Team (a group appointed to investigate alternative uses of the resources displaced by the Federal Government's closure of the Defense Research Establishment Pacific). Helped research and write a series of fun science activity sheets for girls for the Society for Canadian Women in Science & Technology. Researched and developed Breaking the Barriers, an information kit designed to help elementary teachers encourage girls in math, science and technology. Researched and wrote "Gender Equity in Mathematics, Science and Technology", one of the components of the kit. Researched and wrote "Changing Times: Women and Employment in B.C." on behalf of Victoria Status of Women Action Group. Produced information kits to help community groups fight tobacco and plan effective conferences. Researched and compileda directory of museums and art galleries in B.C. for the British Columbia Provincial Museum.
