Here are the links to download PWAC's standard freelance agreement and our free Copyright Kit. The Copyright Kit includes a sample letter of agreement that writers and publishers can use to help set fair terms for your writing assignments.

You can modify the standard letter as needed for each assignment. Send the resulting letter to your client before you begin work. That way, there will be no surprises when your publisher receives your invoice... and you will have a paper trail to support a claim in the event of non-payment.
